Snacking?
The food we eat at meals, or grab from the refrigerator
between commercials, contain tiny chemicals called
"nutrients". Our bodies are made up of trillions of tiny cells
that need small amounts of these nutrients everyday to give
us energy, and to help build and repair our body tissues.
These nutrients are grouped into six different categories:
- Carbohydrates
- Fats
- Proteins Vitamins
- Minerals
- Water
One of the first steps to healthier eating involves
learning what types of foods supply the nutrients our
bodies need, and how much of these foods we should be
eating every day. Unfortunately, too many people get
information about what they should be eating from
self-help books/magazines written by people who do not
have the expertise to advise people on nutrient
requirements. Allow me to assist you with nutritional
guidance/coaching and help you get on the path to a
healthier you!
