I have a private dental practice here in Greenville. I also have three children ages 6, 4, and 1. You can
imagine how hard it is to find time to get to the gym regularly. However, my health is very important to me. A
colleague of mine referred me to Phil Johnson at Elite Fitness. I was immediately impress by how
knowledgeable he was about his profession. He made it easy to work around my difficult schedule. I've also

My name is Michael Nocito. I am 50 years old, married (to my wife Patti) and have three teenage children
(Jessica, Rachel and Mikey). I am also Vice President of Administration and Planning for Bowater, which is a
forest products company headquartered here in Greenville.
For the past several years, I have made annual commitments (New Year's Resolutions) to get myself in
better shape and lose some weight. I usually held true to these intentions until February or March where
something would throw me off track and I would never get back on the program.
Several of my colleagues at Bowater spoke very highly of Phil, Lori, Keith the personal trainers over at Elite
Fitness. I thought it was worth a try, so I began personal training regime with Phil Johnson in early 2003.

A year later, I am happy to say that this time around the story has a different ending. My weight is down to about 175-180
which is about what it was when I got married in 1984. My doctor is also pleased that my cholesterol and blood pressure are
down to very healthy levels.
I credit Phil with a great deal of my success. His positive encouragement without being a drill sergeant has driven me to want
to work harder to stay healthier. I train with Phil half an hour, twice a week. I find having someone waiting for me at 6:30 in
the morning forces me to get out of bed in the mornings I'd just rather sleep in. Once I got into this routine, I also found myself
spending additional early mornings at the gym, before work or family obligations kick in.
I don't know if I will do this forever but right now it is working. If I ever can get off my french fry and doughnut kick, the sky's
the limit.
had trouble maintaining a consistent routine. I start an exercise program and it usually becomes extinct in a matter of months.
Phil has made working out an enjoyable part of my day. He also keeps me excited and motivated. Phil has been my trainer for
two years!
I just turned 40, and I feel and look great! I have more energy to keep up with my children. I would highly recommend Phil
Johnson to my family and friends. I know I'll live a longer, healthier life thanks to him!

"When I began the program with Phil, I was very excited. At my first
consultation we discussed my eating habits. He had already asked me
to write down everything that I had eaten that day. I brought that
information with me to my consultation. At that time we went over my
eating habits, what things I did like to eat and didn't. Phil took some
measurements and body fat measures (this was to track my progress).
Since my life was just as busy as any other mother of 2, we also went
over my schedule and what days I would be available to train. At that
point, I set my very first training session with Phil.
Date Started Program: January 2002
Starting Weight: 140 lbs
Goal to Obtain: 118 lbs
Met Goal of 118 lbs in May 2002
On the very first session, Phil had my diet ready and waiting for me. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. And the
training....well, it went very well! After 4 months I had met my goal and lost 22 pounds! I lost 6 pant sizes and was wearing a
size 4 again. At that point, I decided that I would like to set another goal for myself. I decided to compete in a NPC sanctioned
Figure competition in NC called the Elite Classic on November 2, 2002, which was on my 32nd birthday. After working with Phil,
I obtained my goal! I competed in the Figure A (short class) and placed 3rd out of 11 other competitors! I loved competing so
much that I went the to compete at the Palmetto Cup in Florence, South Carolina and placed 2nd in the figure short class!
From that point, I was hooked! May 2003, I competed in the SC State Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness Competition. I placed
third out of thirteen other competitors!
Thank you Phil for everything. You've help to make me feel good about myself again. My outlook on life is totally changed. You
have changed my lifestyle to a healthy one, and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I didn't know better, I would
never have thought that I could go from 140lbs to 118lbs and then a competition weight of 107lbs! I haven't seen those days
since high school!"

Below are some before and after pictures of Kim. "At first, I was embarrassed to take the photos, but it really helped to motivate me (as well
as others) when I could visually see my progress from week to week. My body was changing from week to week." Being so please with the
end result, it's worth posting the photos ~ Kim
